Sobremesa (noun) — The time spent lingering around the table after a meal, talking, laughing, and enjoying the company of the people you ate with.

Basically, dinner is over, but nobody has managed to leave yet.

The Sobremesa Sweatshirt is for long dinners, good friends, loud families, second glasses of wine, unnecessary desserts, and anyone who understands that “Should we get the check?” is merely the beginning of another 45 minutes of conversation.

Cozy, comfortable, and perfect for lingering, it’s made for dinner parties, family gatherings, holiday meals, neighborhood restaurants, lazy Sunday lunches, and sitting around a table covered in empty plates while someone suddenly starts telling a story you've already heard seventeen times.

Wear it when dinner becomes an event.

Wear it when dessert becomes another round.

Wear it when someone stands up and says “Well, we should probably get going” but makes absolutely no physical movement toward the door.

Because some people eat and leave.

You came for dinner and accidentally stayed long enough to qualify for residency.

That’s sobremesa.

Pour another drink.

Have another piece of dessert.

Tell one more story.

Nobody’s leaving anytime soon anyway.
