Saudade (noun) — A deep, emotional longing for someone, somewhere, or something that is absent and may never return.
Basically, missing something so beautifully and dramatically that “I kinda miss it” feels wildly inadequate.
The Saudade Sweatshirt is for sentimental souls, hopeless romantics, nostalgic overthinkers, former travelers, lost loves, distant places, and anyone who has ever heard one old song and suddenly found themselves emotionally transported back to a Tuesday in 2009.
Cozy, comfortable, and appropriately nostalgic, it’s perfect for rainy afternoons, old playlists, quiet evenings, flipping through photos you absolutely should not still have, and staring thoughtfully out of windows like the lead character in a movie nobody else realizes they're in.
Wear it when you miss someone.
Wear it when you miss somewhere.
Wear it when your phone shows you “On This Day 8 Years Ago” and you suddenly need forty-five minutes alone.
Because sometimes you don't necessarily want something back.
You just miss the version of yourself that existed when you had it.
That’s saudade.
Pull on the sweatshirt.
Play the song.
Look at the old photo.
Feel everything.
Then remember why you broke up with them.
That usually helps.

FIRST WE MAKE IT. THEN YOU STALK THE TRACKING.
Every WordSmirk™ item is made to order, which means your new favorite shirt or hoodie doesn’t actually exist yet. You buy it. We make it. Very existential.
Once your item has finished its journey from idea to actual thing you can wear, it ships.
Your shipping time is added on top of the production time and depends on the shipping method you selected at checkout.
So the basic equation is:
Production Time + Your Selected Shipping Time = “WHERE IS MY SHIRT?!”
Don’t worry. It’s coming.
Good words take a little time. Great ones come with tracking numbers.
Guessing your size is fun right up until the package arrives.
That’s why we provide a Size Guide on every product page. Simply click “Size Guide” next to the product size options to see the measurements before making any irreversible wardrobe decisions.
Measure yourself. Check the guide. Choose wisely.
Because “I’m pretty sure I’m a medium” is still not a recognized unit of measurement.
And remember: our products are made to order, so this is one of those rare occasions when size really does matter.
