Saudade (noun) — A deep, emotional longing for someone, somewhere, or something that is absent and may never return.
Basically, missing something so deeply that apparently your feelings now require a hoodie.
The Saudade Relaxed Hoodie is for sentimental souls, hopeless romantics, nostalgic travelers, chronic reminiscerers, and anyone who has ever heard an old song and suddenly been emotionally transported back to a person, a place, and several questionable decisions from 2008.
Soft, cozy, and appropriately nostalgic, it’s perfect for rainy evenings, long drives, old playlists, quiet weekends, looking through forgotten photos, revisiting familiar places, and staring dramatically out of windows while thinking about a life you haven't lived in fifteen years.
Wear it when you miss someone.
Wear it when you miss somewhere.
Wear it when your phone cheerfully announces “You have a memory from 11 years ago!” without considering whether you're emotionally prepared for that kind of attack.
Because sometimes you don't actually want the past back.
You just want to visit for a little while, look around, and remember how it felt to be there.
That’s saudade.
Pull up the hood.
Play the old song.
Look at the pictures.
Feel everything.
Then put your phone down.
Absolutely nothing good happens after typing “Hey, stranger…”

FIRST WE MAKE IT. THEN YOU STALK THE TRACKING.
Every WordSmirk™ item is made to order, which means your new favorite shirt or hoodie doesn’t actually exist yet. You buy it. We make it. Very existential.
Once your item has finished its journey from idea to actual thing you can wear, it ships.
Your shipping time is added on top of the production time and depends on the shipping method you selected at checkout.
So the basic equation is:
Production Time + Your Selected Shipping Time = “WHERE IS MY SHIRT?!”
Don’t worry. It’s coming.
Good words take a little time. Great ones come with tracking numbers.
Guessing your size is fun right up until the package arrives.
That’s why we provide a Size Guide on every product page. Simply click “Size Guide” next to the product size options to see the measurements before making any irreversible wardrobe decisions.
Measure yourself. Check the guide. Choose wisely.
Because “I’m pretty sure I’m a medium” is still not a recognized unit of measurement.
And remember: our products are made to order, so this is one of those rare occasions when size really does matter.
