EPISTEMIC (adjective)
Relating to knowledge, belief, justification, and the question of how we know what we think we know.
Knowing something is one thing. Knowing why you believe you know it is where things get considerably more interesting.
That’s epistemic.
The word comes from epistemology—the branch of philosophy concerned with knowledge, belief, evidence, truth, and what actually justifies calling something a fact. It’s the intellectual territory occupied by people who hear “Everybody knows that” and immediately wonder whether everybody has checked.
The Epistemic Classic Tee celebrates intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and the occasionally inconvenient habit of questioning how we know what we claim to know. Featuring a distinctive WordSmirk™ design, it’s made for philosophers, academics, skeptics, researchers, deep thinkers, and anyone who considers “What’s your evidence?” a perfectly normal contribution to casual conversation.
Wear it to class, the bookstore, coffee-fueled debates, museums, lectures, casual weekends, or anywhere unsupported certainty could use a little scrutiny. It also makes a distinctive gift for philosophy lovers, critical thinkers, students, professors, researchers, academics, skeptics, intellectuals, and word nerds.
Why you'll love it: Comfortable everyday wear, distinctive WordSmirk™ artwork, a fascinating philosophical concept, and a conversation-starting design for people who prefer their opinions with at least a little supporting evidence.
Epistemic: because “How do you know?” is sometimes the most intelligent question in the room.

FIRST WE MAKE IT. THEN YOU STALK THE TRACKING.
Every WordSmirk™ item is made to order, which means your new favorite shirt or hoodie doesn’t actually exist yet. You buy it. We make it. Very existential.
Once your item has finished its journey from idea to actual thing you can wear, it ships.
Your shipping time is added on top of the production time and depends on the shipping method you selected at checkout.
So the basic equation is:
Production Time + Your Selected Shipping Time = “WHERE IS MY SHIRT?!”
Don’t worry. It’s coming.
Good words take a little time. Great ones come with tracking numbers.
Guessing your size is fun right up until the package arrives.
That’s why we provide a Size Guide on every product page. Simply click “Size Guide” next to the product size options to see the measurements before making any irreversible wardrobe decisions.
Measure yourself. Check the guide. Choose wisely.
Because “I’m pretty sure I’m a medium” is still not a recognized unit of measurement.
And remember: our products are made to order, so this is one of those rare occasions when size really does matter.
