Saudade (noun) — A deep, emotional longing for someone, somewhere, or something that is absent and may never return.
Basically, nostalgia with a broken heart and an unnecessarily good playlist.
The Saudade Classic Tee is for sentimental souls, hopeless romantics, chronic reminiscerers, distant travelers, old loves, forgotten places, and anyone who has ever heard the first three seconds of a song and immediately been transported back to a very specific summer seventeen years ago.
Comfortable, classic, and appropriately nostalgic, it’s perfect for road trips, old neighborhoods, quiet afternoons, concerts, reunions, looking through old photos, and accidentally finding something in a drawer that sends you into a completely unnecessary emotional spiral.
Wear it when you miss someone.
Wear it when you miss somewhere.
Wear it when Facebook shows you a memory from 2012 and suddenly you're staring at your phone thinking:
“Jesus. We were young.”
Because sometimes you don't actually want the past back.
You just want to visit it for five minutes without making any of the same terrible decisions.
That’s saudade.
Put on the tee.
Play the old song.
Look at the pictures.
Remember the good times.
Then close the photo album before you start texting people you absolutely should not be texting.
Nostalgia has limits.

FIRST WE MAKE IT. THEN YOU STALK THE TRACKING.
Every WordSmirk™ item is made to order, which means your new favorite shirt or hoodie doesn’t actually exist yet. You buy it. We make it. Very existential.
Once your item has finished its journey from idea to actual thing you can wear, it ships.
Your shipping time is added on top of the production time and depends on the shipping method you selected at checkout.
So the basic equation is:
Production Time + Your Selected Shipping Time = “WHERE IS MY SHIRT?!”
Don’t worry. It’s coming.
Good words take a little time. Great ones come with tracking numbers.
Guessing your size is fun right up until the package arrives.
That’s why we provide a Size Guide on every product page. Simply click “Size Guide” next to the product size options to see the measurements before making any irreversible wardrobe decisions.
Measure yourself. Check the guide. Choose wisely.
Because “I’m pretty sure I’m a medium” is still not a recognized unit of measurement.
And remember: our products are made to order, so this is one of those rare occasions when size really does matter.
