FERNWEH (noun, German)
An aching longing for distant places; a desire to travel somewhere far from home.

Some people get homesick. Fernweh is what happens when staying home starts to feel like the problem.

This wonderfully expressive German word describes that restless pull toward somewhere far away—the mountains you haven’t seen, the cities you haven’t wandered, the roads you haven’t driven, and the destinations currently sitting open in twelve different browser tabs.

The Fernweh Classic Tee celebrates that irresistible desire to go somewhere else. Featuring a distinctive WordSmirk™ design, it’s made for travelers, wanderers, adventurers, and anyone who considers a half-empty suitcase a perfectly reasonable piece of home décor.

Wear it on road trips, flights, weekend escapes, hikes, coffee runs, sightseeing adventures, or while planning the next trip before you’ve completely unpacked from the last one. It also makes a thoughtful gift for travel lovers, adventurers, hikers, frequent flyers, road-trippers, word lovers, and anyone fascinated by German words and beautifully untranslatable expressions.
